Privacy Policy

Ajento is a fleet management app for transport businesses, published by AVS Solutions. This policy explains what information the app holds, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain on purpose.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Ajento mobile app and the account you create to use it. When we say "we" we mean AVS Solutions, the publisher of Ajento. When we say "you" we mean the fleet owner, manager or staff member using the app.

What we collect

You give us this information directly when you sign up and use the app:

• Your account. Name, email address, phone number and your role in the company. Your email and password are used to sign you in.
• Your company. Company name and any business details you add, such as address, GST number and a contact number.
• Your vehicles. Registration number, make, model, year, engine and chassis numbers, odometer readings, wheel configuration and any photo you upload.
• Your documents. Document types and their dates, and any photo or file you upload of a paper such as insurance, permit, fitness, PUC, road tax or registration.
• Your maintenance and tyres. Service records, costs, tyre details and any invoice image you attach.
• Your vendors. Names, phone numbers and GST numbers of the garages and tyre shops you save.

We also generate a notification token for your device so we can send you the daily reminder. We do not collect your location, your contacts, or any advertising identifier, and Ajento contains no advertising.

Why we use it

Your information is used only to run the app for you:

• To keep your vehicle records, documents, services and tyres in one place.
• To work out when a document expires or a service or tyre is due, and to send you a reminder before it lapses.
• To let the people you invite to your company see the same records.
• To provide support when you contact us.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your data is held in a secure database and file store operated on our behalf by Supabase. Access is restricted so that you and the people in your company can see your records, and no other company's records. Uploaded documents are kept in private storage and opened through short-lived secure links.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that make the app work, and only so far as they need it to do that:

• Supabase hosts the database, file storage and sign-in.
• Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging deliver the notifications to your phone.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We will never sell your data or hand it to advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you want your account and its data deleted, email us and we will remove it, along with your uploaded documents, within 30 days.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete your vehicles, documents, services, tyres and vendors from inside the app at any time.
• You can turn notifications off in your phone settings.
• You can ask us to delete your whole account and all its data by emailing the address below.

Children

Ajento is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be signalled in the app.
